I remember when this first came out. Very controversial but when I just recently the uncut version I couldn't remember how it ends until I saw the scene with Tom Berringer. This movie was right in there with the times. You never know the people you meet and what is their backrounds, lifestyles, and this was a woman on her own taking big chances in New York City. Being a true story makes me think how many other women went through this situation throughout the following years up to the present but survived and lived to tell about it.. Outstanding cast and story. Not crazy about the title.
Maybe more like "Strangers in the Night".
