Tongue-in-cheek silly humour. I enjoyed it as it was easy to watch without having to think too much. I think having a well-known cast really emphasised the tongue-in-cheekiness & they played it how it should be played - without taking itself seriously at all. Great fun.

I loved this film. Will Ferrell is a favourite of mine (he wasn’t always - it took Elf to change my mind) - and the strangely & sometimes childishly fun plot just bubbles along getting better as it goes. I’m not a fan of the actual Eurovision contest so I was a little sceptical about watching it at first but as it was Will (and Iceland - lovely, magical island that I have the privilege to have visited) I decided to - so glad I did! The music was amazing, from Volcano Man, Double Trouble & even Lion of Love (🤣), and Husavik was truly breathtaking. Wonderful film.
