I haven't read the book but I will now. Since there was a minimal amount of info regarding this movie other than a girl and a guy meet during the war and I'm not big in war movies, but since it was 4 short parts, I thought I would give it a try. Turns out it is a marvelously written story. Wonderfully brought to the screen. I was taken in within a brief time. Excellent acted and directed movie.
