This story is beautifully portrayed by Sean Penn and Mel Gibson. The story is true and very tragic but shows that the compassion and resolve of a few can move mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed watching this movie and will rewatch it again soon. The dialogue can be challenging as it is true to the era however it also affirms the authenticity of the re-accounting of the facts. Sean Penn plays the psychotic Doctor tormented by hallucinations and Mel Gibson plays the “uneducated” linguistic specialist who promises to create the Oxford Dictionary. Together, they create history. Fabulous movie and delightfully portrayed.
