Okay, we all get that you are trying, desperately, to recreate the magic of House. But this was a thinly veiled, poor attempt at that. Quinto is a highly talented actor that deserves better. Please, give him an ORIGINAL role. He will slay it. As it was, this pilot episode was boring and uninteresting, and from my standpoint, I don’t see it surviving its first season. That is sad considering the highly talented cast.

This show has become UNWATCHABLE. From the overpowering background “music or sounds” that completely drown out the verbals in the show, to the recent format murdered woman of the week. Here is a hint - make a NEWSMAGAZINE that covers a variety of CURRENT subjects, with some VARIETY, that does not involve the actual dialogue of the show being drowned out by overpowering background music/noise that has ZERO relevance. You are cancelled.

This movie was, visually, a treat. The story was somewhat close to the Lynch original film, but I found the original to be more balanced, even though much of it was narrated, to assist the viewer in understanding the plot. The Lynch movie had a conclusive closure, this movie seemed to close with a design on a sequel. Poor form. I found the audio to be uneven, (I watched on HBO) and found myself adjusting the volume throughout the film, from louder to softer and back. The switch between audio and captions was annoying as well, for me. Even though we have had a lot of technical advances since the original film, for me, I thought that, overall, the original film was a much better, overall, movie.
