I adore this game, but the hype for a perfectly polished product and life changing game definitely killed it for a lot of people. Starting off, my personal opinion is that Cyberpunk 2077 is amazing, just finished one of the endings, great game story wise which had me emotionally invested and genuinely interested in the characters the whole time. I also put quite a bit of time into side quests, the ending I chose kept me captivated and on edge the whole time. And there's still like 4 other endings. If you're into games where you carve your own path and choose your own options dialog wise and decision wise, this is a great game. Graphics are amazing. Gunplay I personally found fun and I like the parkour-like movement , but other people have been a little meh about it, so I could understand if you find it a little stiff. Not gonna lie I feel like there definitely should have been wall-running in this game because with that I would've called it a parkour shooter straight up, almost mirror's edge-like. The lore surrounding the main story and night city's history is amazing and deep, plenty of it to keep you content for a while. But let's be honest there's a ton of bugs. I'm sure they'll iron them out over time but for the moment there's quite a bit. However, it was rare that any of those bugs felt like they were taking away from the experience, most of them were just funny little screw ups for me, you may encounter worse but I was fine overall. Oh, and also, that soundtrack doe, I don't have to say a thing about it really, you'll know when you hear it. Overall I would recommend this game to anyone with the patience to play it but do not play it on xbox one/ps4, it is a waste of time and money, wait until a console/pc upgrade to play it. I am of the belief that this is truly a next gen game, and I would've been perfectly fine if they had spent that time porting it to last-gen consoles just fixing bugs and making it a next-gen only game. The reviews online have not been very clear and are very very mixed, between people who fixated on the gameplay and obsessed over the bugs and people who focused on the story and put up with annoying bugs that show up. Most people who play it for the story love it. People who focused on the bugs said it is a trash game. There are definitely people in between those two categories but I'm generalizing. You guys make your own mind up, but for Gods sake do not play this on a ps4 or Xbox one lol.
