Evidence of rape as argued by the actor Khanna seems lacking in the hindsight, and as last few scenes show. Yet the accused is awarded sentence by the judge. Was it playing to the popular trend in the Society? Isn’t judgement influenced by vocal protests organised at the time or before hearings?
