I think it's trying to portraying Diana's free spirit, nonconformist characteristics, and her unhappiness with the structure of being in apart of the royal family to the point of being so unhappy that she felt as if she was imprisoned, but to dabble into her struggling with mental illness was taking it to an extreme. Diana was one of my two favorite women who lived during my lifetime, along with Mother Theresa, due to her kindness, empathy, compassion and humanitarianism. Kristen Stewart did well capturing some of her mannerisms and body language, but I found her unbelievable. I couldn't understand half of what she was saying
The scenes with the boys were special, but I wasn't very impressed otherwise.
