I like the show. I am really picky about storylines and characters following a logical path. This show intrigues me and I have binged watched it. I do like the mixed race couple and the gender representations. I think this show focuses more on the mental idea of scary monsters than on the actual physical representation of them. I saw that as a complaint in some reviews. There is a mystery behind the story that draws you into the plot. It is a lot like real life where you see something happening and don’t immediately know why it’s happening. The show provides some insights into the background of the characters but leaves some to be revealed later. I think the actors are believable. I have not read the comic book series. I would recommend watching it. I found it a great escape show. You need to watch and listen. I find myself rewinding to rewatch some parts because I sometimes am trying to multitask while watching. I do like the music and sound effects. Very interesting show!
