Very poor. Hilariously wooden dialogue. Bad CGI. Until Rupert everitt arrives there is not a single reason to watch it. But even Rupert as the Iron Duke after Waterloo can’t do much with lines like ‘the battle is won. The war is over’. duh! And why does old Nappy have to wear his silly hat all the time? In case we forget who he is? Be honest. It’s rubbish. Even Arnie had more life in him when the terminator was all burned up.

One of the most important books ever written, in my opinion. A remarkable tour de force, it produces a massive emotional impact by juxtaposing the developing feminist movement, with the outrageously entitled behaviour of men posing as "advanced thinkers". Set at the turn of the century but, absent the unexpected pregnancies, the attitudes and dilemmas are those of the 1970s as well. I would like to see a post "Me-Too" re-analysis of this remarkable work for the present century because the themes are eternal.
