The ending wrecks the whole emotional state of mind that the movie worked so hard to create. I was expecting him to get a citizenship and go the easy way through life but instead he went back to Punjab and betrayed life's journey. That is what wrecks the whole thing. Dabaang 3 is quite close to this movie except it is not as emotional and dramatic.
