I am a 53 year old single dad. My youngest is 21 and still at home. Through the years we have explored several Christian churches and for a period of time found a home at one. Being from the predominantly Mormon state of Utah there are a lot of opinions on how each and every person should live their lives... unfortunately one hears these opinions whether you want it or not. I am currently struggling with my youngest questioning the existence of god. I’ve raised him to research and keep an open mind while respectful to conflicting opinions. God friended me has touched both of us to the point of tears (although movies have this is the first from a television series) the writing is exemplary, with great concern to not offend any religious beliefs, sexual designation, race, creed or color. If it does your looking for something to be offended by! Though I do not believe in organized religion I do believe in a relationship with JC. I’ve adhered to one belief from a quote I read when I was young from Pascal which reads “There is a god shaped vacuum in the heart of each man which cannot be satisfied by any created thing but only by god the creator, made known through Jesus Christ.” It is refreshing to spend an hour each week watching people working together to do good, to help total strangers all while struggling with their own decisions and relationships.
