Comparing: 1976 (my favorite) to 2018. Superb singing, but I felt no substance. Nothing captured me, it was like flipping through a good book with no time to read. Everything was cut short, there was no time to "feel" or look back on any special moments, they were missing and pointless in some areas. I was fully aware of Kris Kristofferson, with several songs he sang, enjoyed his full length concerts and knew him well. I truly felt the struggle of that love story rich with depth. I felt the loss so deeply between Kris and Barbra. So much was missing between Bradley and Lady Gaga - she could have pulled it off better simply being the only one in the remake. Disappointed.
