Just terrible! The story line jumps all over the place and 0 character development. Matilda comes across as a naughty child and know-it-all. They give you little reason to root for her because the character development isn't there!! The only reason I new some of the characters was because I have read the book and seen the original film. I was hopeful as I love a good musical and I watched until the very end, but god this was irritating and just lacking in everyway! I couldn't even get into half the songs as some where inappropriately placed taking away from the moment rather than enhancing the emotions!

Meh 😐, I'm glad I watched it as part of Disney+ and not at the cinema! All flying into the sun did was get himself download back into another body surly. The entire film was just a bit long drawn out. The only part that really interested me was the introduction of black night at the credits. I'm glad I watched it just so when they do something with black night I will understand his link to eternals.
