Absolute waste of time and money. Kate Beckinsale shows of her acting skills from A to B and that is a stretch. She has two expressions, sad and determined but it is difficult to tell which is which. Brilliantly filmed, but totally unnecessary flashbacks, some explained and some not, ruin the whole experience. Ludicrous story line and even more ludicrous editing. Charles Dance only glimmer of acting skill in the whole piece. Biggest regret is the sixteen hours of my life spent watching it. Well it seemed like sixteen anyway. And now I’ve spent another ten minutes writing this review. At least it may stop some other hapless person watching it and wasting their time.
