Yes..the auction is back and the players are interesting. Now bring back the family visit...that was such an important part for me...seeing peoples humanity...So season 45 is feeling like the old survivor. The cast are not all vanilla no matter their skin color...and all that weird stuff is gone...but this is what I find irritating...no one gets flints or food. Why? Because there is little video of them suffering so why bother. Feed them and add more episodes. Australian Survivor is now far better than Survivor USA. 41 was so horrible I quit after episode 4. 42 was better but then I fast forwarded threw the dialogue and tribal so I missed all the race drama and I have no clue who won and I don't care. Now I'm watching 43 and the players are bland. Where are the Boston Robs and Parvartis. Nobody stands out from seasons 41, 42, 43. SO YOU ARE PAYING ATTENTION AND FIXED SOME OF THIS. YES YES. I am actually looking forward to the episodes again. During quarantine I watched all the seasons 3 times and googled the players over and over again, so don't eliminate returning players. And please get over yourself, woke moments happen naturally and it is amazing what transpires. You cannot fabricate that kind of thing with stupid long walks up a hill.

100 percent agree...this show is horrifying and yet I can't stop watching. Them hurts my heart to the core. I'm mexican american but look very white. I never understood my father until in my 30's because I was white. You can live with someone of color and not see what they are going through because it isn't happening to you. One time in the car I was pulled over with my very brown friend and immediately he had his hands in the air and explaining that he was only reaching for his license.....I was shocked, I didn't understand...but I do now. I am so glad for so many tv shows dealing with race because I need reeducation as well. After all, I have lived in predominately white communities so like many I have no exposure to these issues first hand.
