A terrible mess, left at 1h45m when i still didn't care about any of the characters

Holy god that was awful, I left after an hour as the teenage sasquatch was getting ready to mate with his mother, did'nt need to see that. But mostly I was just bored, no character development so I'm just not interested in what happens to these creatures. I did'nt bother to stay long enough see the part with the humans, so maybe it gets better, but I just did'nt care. 2 stars because it was original and I do appreciate that, but I was wildly bored, even with parts that should have been hilarious (psychedelics) Theater was 40% occupied, and it seamed to only land for one person, who found it hilarious, but maybe she had taken her own shrooms and that's the trick for enjoying this one.

Awful. I'm a A24 and Phoenix fan but this was just unwatchable. Literally the first film I've ever been to that made me dislike not only the film but the audience. Beau is living in a nightmarish world of anxiety and we see horrible things happening all the time. It's unclear what's real and what's not, but at no point did I want to laugh about how things keep getting worse for him, just felt pity. Hearing others laugh at his horrible experiences, imagined or not, was pretty upsetting. I did not find a single character that I could identify with, or even like, which will always kill a film for me.

A lot to like, particularly the performances and the production design, not to mention the music, but far to slow. Could have easily cut 45 minutes and ended up with a better film.

Ok, great production design, DP, wardrobe, and Sean Harris did a great job as king. The rest of this movie is utterly forgettable, I was not at all invested in the lead or his quest, I did not care at all if he found the Green Knight or not. I found at least 50% of the shots, while beautiful, did nothing to move the (rather weak) story along.

Really important film. To me it might be the best thing Wahlberg has done, Sinise shines as always, Bell is fantastic. I hope everyone sees this. Sad but hopeful. Be kind to each other.
