I was first surprised by the level of humor. I laughed along as characters were subtly built, relationships surreptitiously forged and emotional development slipped in without my knowledge. The eclectic approaches to scene delivery was brilliant and kept things interesting. Then there’s that ending. Beautifully done.
By the way, I’m 58.

This movie was solid from beginning to end. As with all “super hero” movies, if you nitpick they can unravel. Seriously, you have beings that can control universal elements with their mind, but they invariably end up in a Kung Fu fight. Ridiculous.
The story was basic and cliched, like all these types of movies, but it’s a fun ride to take with a tub of popcorn!
