My husband and I are really enjoying the show. The issues I have are the blue dress of the daughter is NEVER dirty or wrinkled, everyone’s teeth are pristine white and only one of the immigrants in the first series could speak and understand the english language and now in the third series most of them speak and understand the english language. I’m not a history buff, but most of it seems authentic. Not sure about the modern day swearing, if that language was used back in those days. Now if they would just dirty up that dress!
