Definitely not what was expected or even some cases wanted, but it is one of the most emotional, saddest stories like the first one. The gameplay is fantastic, not a huge evolution from the first one but there's a few new aspects. The fear and dread this game creates like the first one is unreal. You are on your toes during these sections. The combat encounters are absolutely dreadful and tension filled. This is not a pleasant game but it isn't supposed to be. Overall the story is not as tight as the first one and the game starts to drag about 70% through. However it does pick up after that section and leads to a sort of ending and a prologue. The final ending is divisive but personally, I really liked it. As a huge fan of the first one, this game isn't entirely necessary but if you really liked the first one, you will like this one.
