This has to be probably the worst war film i've ever seen , the budget was a pittance i know but really wasn't worth the effort . Forget for a minute all the historical inaccuracies about how the Airmen interact just go back to basics . The acting is atrocious and wooden , there's just no bonding, emotion or even glimpse of character . I don't know if the actors gave their time for free but if they did they still robbed the maker . There is literally nothing that holds you in , from the first action between the flight of Lancasters and a German night fighter you realise how very poor it looks . I'd been looking forward to seeing this for a very long time and cannot remember ever feeling so cheated and let down .
