A total dissapointment as a fan of Kaiju genre. Hollywood ruined the crossover with below average sub plots and character development.
The CGIs are getting better every year but that acute emotion you look forward to in terms of storytelling is dwindling away.
It was as if like 2 pets having a squirmish. Godzilla & Kong were degraded to such low heights as the story moved along, it was kinda sad to absorb that.
Shin Godzilla was absolutely amazing with Peter Jackson's King Kong. I guess hollywood just loves to dupe hardcore fans with catchy trailers and more catchy trailers.
