I was only driven to write this review due to the 1 star reviews. I didn't read them all, since there's so many of them, but every single one I read seemed to miss the most important scene of the movie. They either complain "this movie makes white people feel bad!" (an anti-woke take, so inherently stupid and wrong) or "This movie says black people SHOULD make white people feel comfortable" which is directly countered by the movie. When Aren is about to get his brain wiped, it fails, because he has convinced every other member of the ASOMN to begin speaking their mind. The movie, ultimately, rewards Aren for breaking from the habit of making white people comfortable, and in the end it suggests true understanding as the solution to racial tension. He then is able to "get the girl", by disregarding the wellbeing of his white client and focusing on what he wants. So, maybe the white guy should feel bad. Boo-hoo. The movie is saying very directly, instead of making white people feel comfortable, make them understand.
P.S.
Reverse racism isn't real you baby
