This book is achingly beautiful, it struck me very deeply. I have lived part time in Benares for about the last 20 years, and have seen many changes here during that time. He has captured a timeless moment in the past, glimpses of life in this enigmatic city. I almost felt as if I was looking at haunted images. Incredible.
