The original. Character driven, where plot, scientific likelihood, and effects that were miserable even for their time, couldn't have carried it, the show lasted as a fan favorite for 30 years. Likely an excruciating watch for modern viewers, but still worth a view for the Doctors (more eccentric and less sexy as the newer Doctors have been - growing up with it in the 70's, the 4th Doctor remains MY Doctor), companions (including Sarah Jane Smith, companion to the 3rd and 4th Doctors, and K-9, the Tin Dog), and the origins of many modern fan favorite villains, like the Master, Cybermen, Zygons, Silurians, Sontarans, Ice Warriors, and yes, the Daleks.
