I think it was beautiful in its own right. People keep talking about the “lack of emotion” but I just think that’s not true. Not only because of he voice acting, but the animals were portrayed in a realistic way. They weren’t expressive the way humans are, they were expressive the way ANIMALS are. They relied on the mannerisms and characteristics of animals themselves, and it was beautiful and heartwarming. It brought a new light to one of my favorite movies.
