Deapite the ocassional technical issues and some repetitive segments, "Vampyr" is a prime example of an Open World ARPG game. The world is small, but intriguing and fun to explore. The narrative just pulls you in with a trully stellar introduction sequence. The amount of research poured into the title is impressive and it even makes several lore-related bold conclusions, which seem quite logical. Not enough people bring it up, but it is written exceptionally well, with deep characters and provocative scenarios. Some of the side stories not only reflect the world, but also echo important real-world commentary, which I truly apprecuated. The game is set at just the right length and scale as well, preventing it from becoming a chore at later points. The voice work is solid and I see myself coming back to the Score suring specific spooky seasons.
The only things holding the game back are some minor crashing instances due to area-loading, confusing navigation in the City and a mechanic, which could've been further expanded upon. However, none of these prevented me from enjoying my stay in this rendition of mystical London.
This title deserves a lot more praise than given credit for. I really hope that this studio keeps this up!
