It is, quite simply, my favourite film. I have watched it over twenty times and each time I laugh at the dark comedy (absolutely to my quirky taste), enjoy the music, adore the relationship between Harold and Maude and find something new to marvel at. There are so many layers to this film. The casting is brilliant. As I get older I identify more and more with Maude... There is a good reason why this film appears in so many of ‘The 100 best films’ lists. Watch it and enjoy! Then watch it again....
