I don't normally watch horrors, however, after seeing the trailer, I thought I would give it a go. I thought with Ralph Fiennes, it should be somewhat good. With cushion at hand I settled down. Well it appears the best parts were the trailer. No need for the cushion, as not remotely scary. The film went from amusing to ridiculous, that was so ridiculous making me question why did I bother watch it at all.

A gripping film to watch, though difficult at times. With back drop of Mali, its stunning panoramic scenery is beautiful portraying a story of survival without the Hollywood glamour. If you are into the feel good Hollywood films, this is not film for you. It is more like documentary than a fictional film. The acting is second to none. A real education.
