This movie knows what it is: a rom com with a young target audience. It's cheesy with an indie pop score and everything you expect from a film with this title and this cover art. It's a fine story and there was a good attempt at clever cinematography. It's a fun time, not to be too taken seriously, and (I think) this generation's "My Best Friend's Wedding."
I should mention: there is a serious lack of Asian representation in the media. This movie shows a young Korean American woman living a typical American teenager lifestyle. This is a rare thing to see in American television and just for that, it is worth the watch.
