This was not a Star Trek show avoid at all costs. I can see a generic, lack luster, dime a dozen run of the mill sci fi script floating around Hollywood for 10 to 15 years drawing 0 interest. Suddenly Patrick Stewart is available to reprise the iconic role of Jean Luc Picard!!! QUICK time is of the essence buy a script ANY SCRIPT slap 'Star Trek' on it , tweak it so it meets with Stewart's demands (he's a 'writer' now!) and throw it on tv!! The Star Trek drones will flock to it and love it! It's starring the legendary Sir Patrick Stewart! Somehow they messed it up. This was as generic as it gets, there was a reason why it didn't feel like Trek. Slap the standard 2020 political virtue signaling into it , give Stewart some lines, throw in some TNG actors for old times sake and call it a day! Wretch. They should have left TNG alone, now Stewart's legacy is ruined. Get God awful kurtzman as far away from Star Trek as humanly possible! Star Trek has been hijacked and is being driven by virtue signaling, talentless political hacks!
