A true travesty. Once again, nothing original: bringing back and old foe instead of being creative. No epic lightsaber battle like 'I am your father' or Duel of Fates or Yoda weilding his lightsaber for the first time. An bland love plot ending in a cornfed kiss. A new force power not explained. A new lightsaber never used. The call back to the original movies in the Force Awakens was necessary in order to bring a young audience into the fold. The Last Jedi, while equally inept, was at the very least original. The Rise of Skywalker was a miserable way to end the saga.
