Engrossing movie with great writing-directing and cast

A little too dark and too focused on ratings. Could have shown a little more humanity. Hated the way he died, he should have done it to himself

Incredible pace and sound effects that keep you on edge throughout

Very fun and funny for first hour or so. Which is enough to justify seeing it

I was concerned because the original was so brilliant but this version is equally brilliant with a stronger portrayal or Puerto Ricans actually speaking Spanish yo one another and the language struggle. The Jets could have been cast better. Looked like made up gang members at times.. Maria and Tony were very well cast and credible in their doomed love story. Lastly the “non-binary” character was also in the original. Overall great cinematography and a powerful story.
