If you love movies like Mother and Melancholia, then you will probably love this movie too. If not, stay far, far away. This is not John Malkovich. S-L-O-W paced, cryptic symbolism, unlikeable characters, boring performances. Unrelentlingly bleak and depressing. Just take a two hour and fifteen minute drive in your car with somebody you don't like very much, and ruminate endlessly about your meaningless existence. Same difference.
