This game is a genuinely good game. The story is deep, impactful, and immense. There are three houses to choose from... which each offers a unique experience. There are so many characters to interact with and the class customization is quick expansive. While the game doesn't run at a full 60 FPS... it does not detract from the gameplay too much. The music is astounding. Main theme, Fodlan Winds, Life at Garreg Mach Monastery, Chasing Daybreak, Between Heaven and Earth, The Edge of Dawn, Lady of Hresvelg... so many amazing songs. This game made me an even bigger fan of Fire Emblem. With more dlc content (free and paid), this game just gets better. If you want a story driven strategy turn based RPG, look no further. Three Houses is a wonderful game.

It's a fun game to play. My issue is that the new weapons introduced in the loot boxes (aka gambling) are blatantly stronger. It's really unfair. If you have them, you run them. You can earn them with a lot of work... I've played 60hrs and only earned two... and those aren't even the 'good ones'. The one weapon that really ticks me off is that newest sniper. No recoil after a shot Semi-auto Decent clip size ALWAYS a one shot kill No sniper... not even the strongest one is a guaranteed kill everywhere... until this pay to win gun was introduced. No trade-offs, just better in every way. Not acceptable in a full AAA game. Way too greedy in monetization. Pay to win. It's a true shame.
