Definitely it's about a father and a son, a story of addiction and a family falling apart but for me it was about so much more..it's about self love..it's about self harm its about finding yourself in the darkes hour..especially the concluding part let it enfold you..its so wholesame...i can say this movie isn't about a happy ending neither about a sad ending or a part of life but it is in a way life in a whole..how there are parts in life where you screw up and how things change yet to be screwed up again and how it goes on. It shows rather appreciates life for it's very nature of moving on with ups and downs instead of incorporating it into a story of someone who was once an addict and now sober, it teaches us how to celebrate life even when it's monotonous and is one of most realistic appropriate and perfect representation of depression and emptiness I could have ever related to. Kudos to the whole team, Steve Caroll and Chalamet offcourse, you guys nailed it. I'm so happy and proud..Keep going! we've got miles to go before we sleep and miles to go before we sleep!!
