This is honestly a bad movie, it's pretty horrible. I'm not gonna lie. Iv definitely seen better however, I have never laughed so hard at the movies before. I had to leave the theater after the sex scene I was laughing so hard. We started to cry laughing, I haven't sweated from laughing this much before. I honestly thought this was funnier than the room. In the way that they tried so hard, for god sakes Ridley scott directed it and it has this all star cast. I would recommend this movie gets treated as another The Room with the audience participation of Rocky horror. By the end of the movie the whole theater was laughing at the stupid faces and akward scenes. For the best house of Gucci experience I recommend drinking a little hard seltzer or smoking a little weed with your best buddies, get rowdy. The cast is incredibly talented but mixed with what feels like an utter lack of direction it becomes hilarious, every intense glance from lady gaga, every serious face Adam Driver makes, I mean literally every single face Adam Driver makes. The accents, the scenes towards the third act that add nothing to the plot, the main character isn't even in them. I had tears streaming down my face, I haven't laughed that hard in a while. (Side note I just remember they had a kid in the movie and it never comes up again. We see their kid maybe once.) Anyways back to the review. Go with friends you can laugh with at nothing. I couldn't recommend this more, make your own jokes while you watch. Towards the third act it does become boring, this movie should be treated like the Room. I need to see this movie again. By the end of the movie people in the theater were making their own jokes and laughing at what started out as just me and my friends. It was incredible and hilarious this is a horrible movie. I should mention that I was so excited to see this movie, I love lady gaga and adam driver, I did not go into this thinking I was gonna laugh, but as soon as the movie started and all of the detached scenes, that are from basic boring camera angles the lack of direction a movie that doesn’t know what it wanted to say, these incredible actors doing the most with a lazy script mixed together to make something truly hilarious.

I want to slap whoever did the shot list for the movie. No artist worked on this movie it was like the people who made this had never seen a good film before. It felt like a techie from San Fransisco made this, A tasteless, talentless, techie, gentrifying the bay area made this movie. Armando Iannucci who did Veep and the Death of Stalin should have directed this because Adam Mckay did a horrible job. It was like someone straight out of film school made this, the editing was horrible there where random cut ins of shots that where not necessary to move the story along, and the color grading felt like a bad Netflix series. This was satire done extremely poorly. Recently Iv seen House of Gucci, the new Matrix and now this and if it weren't for the french dispatch I would have lost all hope in American cinema.
