Superb film. If you want a horror movie or something to drift off to though don’t watch it. The reviews from critics are far far better than the reviews here simply because people were just watching the wrong film. I saw the tv glow is a fantastic film, only limited by the imagination of the viewer, that makes a fantastic point about transitioning and wasted time that can be applied to any manner of situations. The soundtrack is stunning, it’s visually so clear in its own identity with homages and subtleties coming out the wazoo. One of my favourite films I’ve ever seen, and it provoked an emotional reaction I’ve never had from a movie and almost never hope to have again. This film is art and an instant classic! (If you like a slow burn, again, really crucial, it’s why the reviews are so mixed.)
