I have not read the book, but fell in love with the story after watching the mini series in the early 90's. I really enjoyed watching a more modern rendition! There were some characters I loved from the other series I wish had been given more screen time, but ultimately enjoyed the series as a whole!

Its 3 am and I just finished the game. I rated this game highly because the characters made me actually feel something. I wasnt just playing a game, but got to watch the lives of these characters with all of the consequences for their choices. The game play made me really feel like I was trying to survive with meager resources. Definately a keeper.
