What would I find to do for 1 week staying in a black cottage on North Uist in the Outer Hebrides? One particular day was dark and overcast, a chill dug deep into my bones. The wind howled around the thatched eves and the window panes rattled. I loaded the wood stove with peet and curled up on the sofa with this book and a cup of coffee. I loved this book and didn't put it down until I was done a few hours later. It opened a world to me that I never knew existed. It was a mountain top moment and I determined then and there not to ever take simple blessings for granted.
