The middle episodes of the series with the Oxford scientists group really added very little to the story, and then mooning over Downing with his dreadful voice was a really turn off. Glad they disconnected the brain from the vocal cords at the end. It disappointed the fans of the books and the low cost BBC sci-fi production didn't engaged the new audience. Wise to cut their losses now.

It's a cross between Slow Horses at Slough House, and Killing Eve. That the CIA legal department is the Slough House of Langley is very believible. You have to have a place to dump the misfits. It just lacks the farts.

While these girls flash all their assets if we comment on the content which are considerable the comment is removed.

Poorly written, in 98 percent of cases a bomber followed by another sub, would be part of a delousing operation by a friendly hunter killer. So the captain's assuming it's an enemy sub is unfounded. The scope has passive sensors to detect surface vessels and bomber patrols are away from shipping lanes for obvious reasons. The Scottish detective has no jurisdiction in mid Atlantic, so can't arrest the XO. The flaws in this story are too many.

I think it's a ripe off of the Muppets' Pigs in Space. Pigs in Space was better.

Too much repeating the main action from the different perspectives of the protagonists without really getting to any issues, either in medieval love or law. In fact the views on the rape, from the view of parents or others would have been more interesting. Even the final fight scene could have been more interesting when the lie was told about the rape, and the option of cutting out his tongue and break his fingers would have been a more poetic act of revenge.
