I love k-dramas and I can easily appreciate a good plot. I had high expectations with this drama. But I guess it's all hype. For me, it was poorly written, the plot is nothing near realistic. The writer single handedly ruin the only cast the audience can connect with which is the 2nd lead actor. The potential of his character would have been promising since the story started with him. They could've added depth to the story by not focusing too much on the shallow love story of the main leads which is cringy. Apart from having no chemistry, too much lying on this drama would make you sick to the stomach. Every character is lying with one another and even to themselves. There could've been characters in the story which could have given edge on the plot like the revenge sub plot but the story just doesn't get to that point. Somehow expecting a revelation from their deceased father's work but the story chooses to be a dreamy kind of plot and too good to be true. Even Joo Hyuk's father ranting on demo day makes the story line crazier. I also think that Nam Joo Hyuk and Suzy Bae do not fit the kind of characters given to them. I usedto like Nam joo hyuk but they really gave him an annoying and unlikeable character. The 2 stars I gave is only for Han Ji-pyeong's character. If not for him, this drama would get zero star for ruining what could have been a good story. Such a waste of time.
