For over 25 years I have loved watching "The Young and the Restless". The storylines for the most part were very interesting and very realistic. And some of the actors/actresses were better than most primetime actors. Those, in my opinion, include Eric Braeden, Amilia Heinle, Sharon Case ,Melissa C. Egan, Mark Grossman, Cortney Hope, Joshua Morrow, Jason Thompson, and Melissa Ordway. Some of the storylines are fascinating: The battle between Victoria and Adam, and the battle between Chelsea and Sally over Adam are well done and exciting to watch.. Other story lines are ridiculous: The battle between Abby and Devon over who has custody of Dominic and who is in love with Phyliss besides herself are mind-numbing.. I still love watching Y&R, but please make it one of the best daytime show by taking out the garbage.

I love the show, but think you should let this season play out with Lori in, and then start fresh next season.
