I grew up watching the Trasformer cartoons, reading the comics, and owned all the toys when Hasbro first introduced the Transformers. The back story in this movie is far off from the original storyline Hasbro introduced when Transformers went mainstream in the 1980's. I liked the movie very much. But as much as the prequel is a great story, it goes way off track from the storyline in the comics and the 1980's cartoons where Transformers crash landed on Earth millions of years ago. And if you saw Transformers - the Last Night movie where Transformers had been helping humans for hundreds of years you will see Bumblebee in photos in the early 1900's. Much earlier than the Bumblebee movie would suggest by him crashing on earth in the 1980's. I did enjoy this movie, I just wish Hollywood would stick to the storylines of the characters as Hasbro created them. I give the movie overall 4 stars.
