Purely as an action film , the plot is from any Steven Seagal movie of the past.
Anyone hoping for even a semblance of correlation with the book is in for a disappointment. Other than character names the plot has nothing to do with the book.
You shoot down a plane supposedly on a spy flight and all members survive a mid sea crash and escape in a Zodiac . Really ?
The plot has more holes than swiss cheese.
Avoid.

The music is mind blowing. The plot has a little too much deus ex machina for my taste but worth a watch purely for the music.
