Happy 40th Birthday Xanadu!! What makes the movie cheesy....a pretty limited plot....limited dialogue and a misuse of Gene Kelly and Olivia. What makes the movie a cult classic second only to Rocky Horror...the music...wow...talk about the music!! When your theme is to be a musical...and you hit on the music...well it's gonna be something. 40 years later...viewers can actually see a bit more of a plot (lost love across generations) but the music remains timeless!!! So yea...this one ended up working in the end after all...Have a great 40 more years Xanadu!!!
