Very fresh idea. Fantastic acting by everyone involved, even actors in tiny supporting roles were brilliant. The dialogues always felt natural and the writing & direction was generally superlative.

Incredible movie with a very sensitive subject. The performances are terrific. The movie not only takes the viewers through the ordeal of an acid attack itself but also life after that. I was seriously shaken and touched. Gulzar saab's lyrics on the title track are still giving me goosebumps
The negative reviews are just BJP sympathisers attacking a movie because of Deepika's show of solidarity for the JNU victims. Don't let that distract you.
