The criticisms of this very fun, clean, family friendly show are absurd. Among them a pedantic scolding of how "real" Titans didn't live on Mt. Olympus... Thanks Homer. I feel that mythological accuracy is NOT shockingly what the Rock was going for. The challenges are novel and exciting. Pitting contestants against one another without head to head directed violence is refreshing as evidenced by the sportsmanlike hugs at the end of each match. The human interest element is engaging and brief enough to whet an appetite without being overly maudlin. And the Rock is pure gold. I'll continue to watch with a beer and some popcorn. I'll leave my textbooks on the shelf.
