I've been a Halo fan for nearly 20 years and I enjoyed the pilot episode. I get that a lot of people are disappointed that they are not following the lore and making changes but let's be honest. If they tried to make a 1 to 1 copy of the storyline we all know and love, all of us fans would find every little detail we didn't like about it and crucify it. I for one am glad it's going to be it's own story and I'm interested to see where it goes. If you are a Halo fan and you haven't watched it yet, I urge you to just keep an open mind.

I'll start by saying this series has been probably my favorite since it's inception with Combat Evolved in 2001. I had high expectations for this game, especially since every other FPS this year has been a major disappointment. So far, I've been blown away by how awesome this game is. From the old school halo music to the game play, this is thoroughly enjoyable to play and I cannot say the same for the likes of Vanguard and 2042. Highly recommend it and well worth the wait!
