I'm looking forward to a second season to give them a chance to develop the characters more. The problem with an ensemble show is giving enough time and energy into establishing and then growing a character along with moving a plot forward. Lots of eye candy from these spectacular dancers and, yes, a fair bit sex that is not suitable for younger audiences. Many of the reviews on here failed to take into consideration that while these characters are teenagers, they have been raising themselves and do have some privilege which accounts for some of the more adult actions.
It was interesting to see some role reversals from what we usually see with Oren having the eating disorder and Madame having the affair with the boy. (Not that these don't happen in real life but we rarely, if ever, see them portrayed on screen). I would definitely recommend the series.
